Mission Statement
The mission of the Autism Society of Southeast Wayne County Chapter is to promote lifelong access and opportunities for persons within the autism spectrum (including, but not limited to Autism, Asperger's Syndrome, Pervasive Developmental Disorder [PDD], and Pervasive Developmental Disorder-Not Otherwise Specified [PDD-NOS] and their families, to be fully included, participating members of their communities through advocacy, public awareness, education and research related to autism.
The Autism Society of Southeast Wayne County is a nonprofit, tax-exempt chapter of the Autism Society of America serving all of Downriver and the Southeast Wayne County area in Michigan
ASA/Southeast Wayne County Chapter is dedicated to building bridges throughout our community by supporting, advocating, education, networking and providing hope for people affected by autism and related disorders of communication and behavior.
Everyone interested in furthering these goals is welcome to join this group.
